Ahmed Ali brings steady backcourt production and veteran guard poise to Portland
Ahmed Ali is a 5'11" guard whose value goes beyond the box score: ESPN lists him at 11.1 points, 3.0 assists, and 2.2 rebounds per game for Portland, while Washington State previously noted he was a trusted starter who added 7.3 points and 2.9 assists per game in his college career. His fit is built on lead-guard instincts, functional scoring, and experience across multiple programs, with a profile that suggests a composed, reliable presence rather than flashy volume. For a team needing a steady organizer who can handle pressure and keep an offense on schedule, he looks like a strong fit.
