Ohio’s veteran catcher brings left-handed pop, polish, and glue-guy value
Patrick Sullivan is a senior catcher for Ohio in the 2026 season, and his profile screams steady, experienced, and coach-friendly: at 6-foot-1, 200 pounds, he’s a left-handed hitter with prior production at Mercyhurst in 2025 (.296 average, .444 slugging, .367 on-base). He also brings defensive utility and quiet consistency, appearing in five games for Ohio in 2026 with seven putouts and one assist, plus a strong academic track record. The fit? A dependable, mature backstop who adds contact ability, game-calling value, and low-drama toughness.
