Georgia State gets a homegrown power back in Qwantavius Wiggins
Wiggins arrives at Georgia State as a 2026 freshman from Fairburn, Ga., with a sturdy 5-foot-11, 200-pound frame and a recruiting profile that drew three-star interest after a senior year in which he ran for 1,003 yards and 12 touchdowns while averaging nine yards per carry for Langston Hughes[1][2]. He’s a downhill, contact-friendly runner who brings local flavor, physicality, and fresh upside to the Panthers’ backfield, and his fit looks strongest for a team wanting burst and toughness more than a polished, finished product[1][2][3].
