Clifford Omoruyi brings elite rim protection and high-efficiency interior play to Alabama
Omoruyi is a classic impact center: he protects the rim, finishes efficiently around the basket, and rebounds at a high level, making him a strong fit for teams that want defense and second-chance offense in the paint. In the 2024-25 season at Alabama, he started all 37 games and averaged 7.9 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks while shooting 72.5% from the floor, showing reliable production in a lower-usage role. His calling card is defensive presence—he was a Big Ten All-Defensive selection at Rutgers and has consistently been one of college basketball’s better shot-blockers.[17][18][10]
