Trent Martin gives ORU a sturdy left-handed look with weekend-start upside
In the 2025 season, Trent Martin was a useful rotation piece for Oral Roberts, working 11.2 innings across six appearances and three starts with a 3.86 ERA, while flashing his best form in a four-inning scoreless outing against Arkansas Pine-Bluff. He’s a 6-foot-3, 210-pound lefty with starter traits—size, strike-throwing potential, and enough poise to handle early-weekend assignments—but the walk rate suggests there’s still polish to add. If your team wants a durable, matchup-friendly southpaw who can grow into more, Martin is worth a serious look.
