Freshman OF Patrick Lyons brings proven prep power and a winning resume to Air Force
Lyons is a 6-foot-1 freshman outfielder whose high school profile stands out for production and all-around value: he was a three-time first-team all-district pick, a state runner-up, and Woodgrove’s career leader in home runs, hits, stolen bases, runs, and walks. Air Force lists him as a freshman from Purcellville, Virginia, suggesting a player with both athleticism and on-base upside rather than a one-tool bat. His 2026 college sample is extremely small, so the real appeal is projection: a competitive, multi-category outfielder with captaincy experience and a strong academic/leadership background.[5][1]
