Sophia Avin brings true utility value and roster flexibility to Buffalo
In the 2026 season, Sophia Avin is a freshman utility player for Buffalo whose biggest selling point is flexibility: at 5'10" and right-handed, she gives the Bulls a movable piece who can help in multiple spots rather than forcing a fixed role. The available game logs show her being used as a pinch runner and appearing in conference play, which suggests the staff trusts her athleticism and situational value. That makes her a smart fit for a team that values adaptable depth, bench energy, and low-drama role execution.
