Patrick Ward brings steady infield versatility and timely pop for FAU
In the 2026 season, Patrick Ward has been a useful, multi-position infielder for Florida Atlantic, batting .289 with 4 home runs, 21 RBI, 43 hits, and a .416 slugging percentage across 44 games, while also showing lineup flexibility with starts around the infield[6]. He’s a 6-foot-3, right-handed hitter from Port St. Lucie who has shown he can handle pressure moments — like a go-ahead homer in 2024 and a two-run shot in FAU’s comeback win over UCF in 2026 — making him a good fit if you want a versatile, competitive middle-order bat with some edge[1][11].
