Karly Smith brings steady right-field production and veteran versatility to the Cougars
Karly Smith is a useful College of Charleston outfielder who added real game value in the 2026 season, starting 26 of 27 appearances in right field and producing 18 hits, eight runs, and seven RBIs, after a 2024 freshman season at New Mexico that showed she could earn starts in multiple roles. Her profile suggests a dependable, adaptable player rather than a flashy stat-sheet star, which matters if you need defensive stability and lineup flexibility more than headline power.
