Oregon State freshman DB David Madison brings ball-hawking upside
David Madison, a 2025 freshman cornerback at Oregon State, arrives with a reputation for making plays on the ball rather than just collecting tackles: in his senior year at Prestonwood Christian Academy, he posted 29 tackles, 19 pass breakups, one interception, two forced fumbles, a fumble recovery and 1.5 sacks. Oregon State listed him as a 6-foot, 165-pound defensive back, and recruiting outlets pegged him as a solid, under-the-radar get with multi-sport explosiveness and long-speed potential. If a team wants a feisty, disruptive DB with takeaway juice and developmental ceiling, he’s worth a long look.
