UCLA Freshman INF Bri Alejandre Shatters Home Run Record with Elite Power & Defensive Precision
Bri Alejandre is a **record-breaking freshman** at UCLA who immediately redefined the program's power ceiling by hitting **17 home runs** in the 2026 season, earning her the title of **new UCLA freshman home run record holder**[1][5]. Her differentiator is a rare **68.8% Quality At-Bat (QAB) rate** paired with a **1.048 OPS**, proving she doesn't just swing for fences but executes a disciplined, middle-of-field approach that ranks among the team's best[7]. Beyond the stats, she is recognized as a **top-ranked third baseman** with elite defensive skills, showcasing an intensity and maturity that belies her freshman status[7]. With **31 home runs** from teammate Megan Grant and **30** from Jordan Woolery leading the team, Alejandre's 17 HRs place her as a critical **27th-ranked home run hitter nationally** among freshmen, making her an immediate **high-impact fit** for any team needing a power-infused infielder who can change games instantly[1][3].
