In the 2025 season, Markellus Bass was a First Team NJCAA All-American at Butler Community College, rushing for 1,237 yards and 8 touchdowns on 187 carries while averaging 6.6 yards per carry and posting eight 100-yard games. He’s a compact, decisive runner who converted to RB later than most, which makes his production even more intriguing: he’s still relatively green, but already proven as a high-volume, high-efficiency back.
