Jason Hawthorne brought efficient scoring punch for Western Illinois
Hawthorne’s Western Illinois profile points to a guard who could score efficiently in a limited role, shooting 50% from the field and 52.2% from three while averaging 2.5 points in 9.2 minutes per game during the 2012-13 season; his value was in quick-impact shooting, not volume.[1] He also added six assists and five steals, suggesting a low-usage, active two-way guard who could fit a roster looking for spacing and opportunistic playmaking.[1]
