In the 2024 season, Malachi Langley emerged as Fresno State’s tone-setting linebacker, finishing second on the team with 86 tackles, adding 4.0 tackles for loss, 3.0 sacks and two forced fumbles while earning second-team All-Mountain West honors.[8] What makes him appealing isn’t just the production: he started all 13 games, has 44 career starts and 59 games played, and was a former walk-on who climbed into the program’s top tier in career tackles, which points to toughness, durability and steady development.[2][8]
