Richmond LHP Caden Blanck brings size, bats-miss upside, and two-way athleticism
Caden Blanck enters Richmond as a 6'3", 188-pound left-hander with notable upside, combining a strong frame with measurable bat speed and impact contact traits from his amateur profile. Prep Baseball Report lists an 86.5 mph max exit velocity and Perfect Game ranked him among Maryland’s top left-handed pitchers in the Class of 2025, suggesting a prospect with real physical tools and room to grow. Recent game reports also show he can contribute offensively and run the bases, which adds athletic versatility.
