Jayreon Campbell brings compact power and legitimate upside to Indiana’s backfield
Campbell is a 2026 freshman RB for Indiana who arrived with real recruiting credibility: a consensus three-star and top-70 national back on some services, plus a strong senior-year résumé at McEachern in 2025 with 930 rushing yards and 18 touchdowns. At 5-8, 205, he looks like a low-center-of-gravity, contact-balanced runner who can handle volume and add value as a receiver. The big question is role clarity—he’s talented enough to matter, but on a crowded depth chart he may have to earn touches the hard way.
