Will White is giving Butler a real jolt from behind the plate
In the 2026 season, Butler catcher Will White has produced a .208 batting average with 3 home runs, 11 RBI and a .668 OPS, and he has already delivered multiple momentum-swinging blasts, including a grand slam and a game-tying two-run homer in conference play[2][3][4]. Butler’s own roster bio notes that he chose the Bulldogs for the program’s “close-knit family environment,” which fits the profile of a steady, team-first catcher who brings toughness and a little pop; if you need a gritty backstop who can change a game with one swing, he’s worth a hard look[1][3][4].
