Charles Kellom is EIU’s bell-cow back with proven volume and breakaway flashes
In the 2025 season, Charles Kellom started all 12 games for Eastern Illinois and led the Panthers with 711 rushing yards, adding 18 catches for 92 yards; he also showed he can handle featured-back volume, with a 133-yard opener and an OVC-Big South top-five rushing finish. The differentiator here is workload plus versatility: he’s a 6'0", 205-pound senior who brings toughness, contact balance, and enough pass-game utility to stay on the field. If your team needs a dependable, physical runner who can carry an offense and has already been a focal point, Kellom fits the brief.
