John Lemm brings pop, patience, and catcher grit to Alabama
In the 2026 season, Alabama catcher John Lemm has been a punchy, middle-of-the-order threat with early production, including a .353 average, 1 home run, and 3 walks in 7 games, while also flashing steady defense behind the plate[8]. In 2026, he also delivered a walk-off homer against Vanderbilt and battled through a broken finger in the postseason, which says a lot about his toughness and competitive edge[13][12]. He’s a strong fit for teams that value left-right balance at the plate, on-base skills, and a catcher who plays with a little edge.
