Big-bodied, mobile Cal QB with real game snaps and upside
In the 2024 season, CJ Harris gave Cal a glimpse of a 6-foot-4, 220-pound quarterback who can operate as a passer and threaten with his legs, finishing with 184 passing yards and 26 rushing yards in limited action, plus a start in the bowl game.[2][5][11] His value is in his size, athletic profile, and prior production at Ohio, where he showed he can move the chains, but the book on him is still more projection than proven high-end consistency.[14] If you need a QB with baseline experience, workable mobility, and some developmental upside, he’s intriguing; if you need a polished, full-time difference-maker right now, the sample size is still thin.[2][11]
