Miller Malone brings Houston a homegrown, high-floor linebacker with steady production
In the 2025 season at Western Kentucky, Miller Malone posted 37 total tackles, 17 solo tackles and 5 tackles for loss, and Houston now lists the 6-foot-2, 220-pound junior as a linebacker with Power Four upside. His calling card is reliability: he played 24 games over two seasons at WKU, was graded as one of Conference USA’s better linebackers, and brings a physical, rotational style that fits a team needing toughness and experience. He’s a Mont Belvieu native coming home, which adds some extra juice to the fit.
