Oregon’s relentless glass-cleaner and tone-setter
In the 2012-13 season at Oregon, Arsalan Kazemi was a high-efficiency forward who averaged 9.3 points, 9.9 rebounds, 1.4 assists, 2.1 steals and 0.6 blocks while shooting 58.7% from the field. He mattered because he was more than a stat line: a physical rebounder, defensive disruptor and nonstop motor guy who gave the Ducks extra possessions and edge. The big differentiator was his intensity and rebounding nose—he was the kind of player who makes a team tougher, grittier and a lot less fun to play against.
