Luke Dehnicke brings rare TE production and Big Ten upside
In the 2025 season, Luke Dehnicke exploded at Minnesota Duluth, piling up 61 catches for 1,119 yards and 14 touchdowns, then was named NSIC Offensive Newcomer of the Year and multiple All-American honors. He’s a 6-6, 230-plus-pound matchup problem with real separation ability, red-zone juice, and enough production to suggest he’s more than just a big body. The big question is level of competition: the jump from Division II to the Big Ten is steep, but the hands, athletic profile, and proven playmaking make him a worthwhile swing for a team hunting upside.
