Dayton’s Special Teams Specialist with Quiet Value
David Maurer is a kicker for Dayton who matters most in the margins: reliability, composure, and special-teams consistency. I don’t have enough verified current-season stat or scouting data from reliable sources to credibly label his exact 2026 form, rankings, or injury context, so the strongest read is that he’s the kind of specialist roster fit teams want when they need steady execution rather than flash. If you value calm under pressure and point-after/field-goal security, he’s a sensible depth or competition add.
