Gabe Petrucelli is a contact-first, left-handed infielder giving Southern Illinois steady production in 2026
Petrucelli has been a reliable everyday bat for Southern Illinois in 2026, hitting .302 with 3 home runs and 22 RBI, and his value goes beyond the line score: at 5'8", 170, he plays with a compact, gritty profile that has translated into consistent on-base and run-scoring impact. FanGraphs shows he has also held his own in tougher offensive indicators, while SIU’s roster page reflects a proven track record across his Salukis career. For a team needing a steady, competitive INF who can fit into a lineup and keep innings alive, he looks like a strong fit.[2][5][7]
