Utah Tech’s Dominic Oliver brings two-way juice and underdog energy
Dominic Oliver entered Utah Tech as a versatile 6-2, 170-pound playmaker from Legacy High School, where he posted 36 catches for 553 yards and 13 touchdowns as a receiver and also picked off eight passes on defense, including two pick-sixes. Utah Tech’s coach praised his ability to play both wideout and defensive back, while his 2025 freshman season showed modest but real involvement with 5 catches for 50 yards. Why care? He’s a high-upside athlete with ball skills, length, and competitiveness—more intriguing than the stat line suggests, and a fit for a team that wants a multi-role threat with upside.
