Efe Vatan brings size, floor spacing, and upside to Oregon’s frontcourt
In the 2025-26 season, Efe Vatan profiles as a modern stretch forward for Oregon: a 6-10 freshman from Istanbul who showed scoring touch, rebounding, and perimeter range in Turkey’s U19 competition, including 16.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game while shooting 34% from three. He’s intriguing because he can space the floor, run, and protect the rim, but his impact depends on how quickly his body and game adjust to college physicality. If your team wants a long, versatile frontcourt piece with international pedigree and upside, he’s a very reasonable bet.
