Bedri brings size, rebounding, and a versatile frontcourt presence for Columbia
Zine Eddine Bedri is a 6-foot-10 forward whose best value is his rebounding, interior scoring, and ability to handle real minutes in the Ivy League; in 2024-25 he averaged 8.1 points and 5.4 rebounds in 18.8 minutes, then flashed a bigger role in limited 2025-26 action with 12.8 points and 7.4 rebounds across five games. Columbia’s roster notes and game logs show he can produce high-volume nights, including a 24-point game and a 17-rebound performance, while also earning Academic All-District recognition. The fit question: he looks like a physical, reliable forward with upside, though his shooting has been inconsistent and he is more of a paint-and-board presence than a stretch threat.
