Howard was a three-star quarterback recruit and a top-35 QB in the 2023 class, praised for his accuracy, smooth delivery, good feet, and ability to make touch throws to either side of the field.[7][9] In high school, he showed he can manage an offense and finish drives, and evaluators at QB Country described him as the kind of quarterback who throws on time and minimizes mistakes rather than forcing hero-ball plays.[11][12] For a team, he looks like a steady fit if you want timing, composure, and efficient decision-making more than raw flash.[7][12]
