Speedy Switch-Hitter with Pro Potential from JUCO to Cougars
Jackson Berini, a 5-10 lefty-batting INF/OF for the Charleston Cougars, brings elite speed (7.27 60-yard dash, 78 max acceleration per Perfect Game) and arm strength (76 IF velo), making him a dynamic defender who can cover ground in the outfield or infield. Transfer from Gaston College where he hit .328 with 20 hits in 2024 over 26 games, he's a gritty, high-energy player from a baseball family—cousin Joey also smashed grand slams in high school. No injury red flags; his quick-twitch athleticism and L/R versatility scream 'steal' for teams needing speed and pop off the bench or as a utility sparkplug.
