UCSB’s two-way spark in the circle and at the plate
Waddell is a high-impact UC Santa Barbara sophomore pitcher who also brings real run production, making her a rare two-way asset rather than just an arm. In 2026, she logged a 4.07 ERA over 87.2 innings with 57 strikeouts and hit .342 with 53 hits, while a 2025 Big West honor highlighted her explosive upside after a .474/.565/1.158 stretch with four homers. She projects as a fit for teams that value toughness, lineup flexibility, and a pitcher who can swing big games with both command and power.
