Tank King brings downhill pop, power recruiting juice to USF’s linebacker room
Dennis King III, a 2026 South Florida commit from Mainland High in Daytona Beach, is a 6-foot-2, 225-pound inside linebacker who earned a three-star label and drew offers from Florida, Miami, West Virginia, Colorado and others. In his high school career, he posted 263 tackles, 56 tackles for loss, 14 sacks, four forced fumbles and two interceptions, with 108 tackles as a senior, showing the kind of snap-to-snap violence that makes coaches grin. He looks like a fit for a physical, gap-filling defense: active, productive, and built to hit.
