left-handed bat, dependable glove, low-usage role with room to grow
Bonin is a left-handed hitting outfielder at Merrimack who has shown early-career defensive reliability and a compact, team-friendly profile: in 2025 he appeared in 13 games with two starts, collecting three hits and two walks, after playing sparingly in 2024 while logging a perfect fielding percentage in the limited chances tracked by Merrimack.[1][7][8] He was also identified by Prep Baseball Report as a left-handed hitting outfielder in Merrimack’s recruiting class, which suggests a player valued more for contact/defense and development upside than headline stats.[4]
