Malik Johnson brings Canisius a proven floor general with program-record vision
Malik Johnson was a high-end creator for Canisius, finishing his Golden Griffins career with the school record for assists (644) and the rare 1,000-point, 500-rebound, 500-assist, 200-steal line, which screams all-around impact rather than empty stats. In his senior season, he posted 12.6 points and 5.9 assists per game, and earlier seasons show steady production as a lead guard who could both distribute and generate turnovers. The differentiator is his true point-guard craft: he makes teammates better, defends with activity, and has already proven he can carry a program at the MAAC level.
