Kellen Karr brings size, left-handed upside, and a high-ceiling arm to Coastal Carolina
In the 2026 season, freshman LHP Kellen Karr appeared in five games for Coastal Carolina, logging 6.2 innings with 3 strikeouts and 9 walks, so the raw results have been uneven, but the appeal is obvious: a 6-foot-6, 215-pound lefty with a track record of dominance in high school and legit arm strength. As a senior in 2025, he went 9-0 with a 1.21 ERA and 124 strikeouts in 68.2 innings, helping North Lincoln win a state title. He looks like a development bet with real ceiling.
