Alex Miller gives Morehead State a hard-throwing, high-leverage RHP with closing value
In the 2026 season, Morehead State right-hander Alex Miller worked 44.0 innings across 18 appearances with 41 strikeouts, two saves, and a team-second-best strikeout total, showing real swing-and-miss stuff and late-inning trust[1][6]. He’s a big 6-foot-6 arm who can handle both starts and bullpen work, and his season included a six-strikeout start at Butler plus back-to-back save-worthy outings in April[1][8][11]. The caution flag: his 8.59 ERA and 31 walks show command is still the separator between “interesting arm” and “must-start weapon,” so he looks like a fit for teams that can polish raw power without rushing him[1][6].
