Zach Hankins was Xavier’s ultra-efficient rim-protecting glue guy
In the 2018-19 season, Zach Hankins gave Xavier a rare blend of efficiency and defensive impact: 10.6 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.5 blocks, and a BIG EAST-best 68.6% field-goal mark. He wasn’t a flashy volume scorer, but he finished everything near the rim, protected the paint, and gave the Musketeers a steady interior presence once he settled into the lineup. If you want a forward who brings toughness, vertical defense, and low-drama production, Hankins fits the bill.
