6-6 rim protector with upside, but still a low-minute mystery
Khadijah Tungo is a 6-6 center from Luanda, Angola who offers Quinnipiac rare size and defensive intrigue, but her college résumé is still very small: she redshirted in 2022-23, appeared in 8 games in 2023-24, and did not see game action in 2024-25 while earning MAAC All-Academic recognition. The appeal is obvious for a team hunting length, shot-blocking potential, and a projectable interior presence; the caution flag is equally clear, since there is little recent production to judge. She looks like a high-upside, development-first fit rather than an immediate impact piece.
