Texas State’s Chase Davis Brings Length, Versatility, and Depth at Safety
Chase Davis is a 6-foot-3 safety for Texas State who offers the kind of rangy size and downhill presence coaches love in the secondary. In the 2025 season, he appeared in 12 games for the Bobcats, and Texas State listed him as a redshirt junior defensive back in 2026, which suggests real program trust and steady development. He’s not a flashy stat-padding headline machine, but his profile points to a reliable, physical, multi-year contributor who can help on the back end. If you want length, experience, and special-teams-ready toughness, he’s a solid fit.
