A.J. McNeil is a depth-guard name worth tracking at Iona
A.J. McNeil profiles as a guard whose value is more about fit, pace, and toughness than headline numbers; ESPN lists him on Iona’s men’s basketball roster, and the available record-book material shows limited on-court production in earlier seasons, so his real appeal is the possibility of a role-player guard who can bring energy, defend, and stay ready when called. If a team wants an instant star, this is probably not the lane—but if it wants a hard-nosed, low-drama guard who can plug gaps and keep the engine humming, McNeil is at least interesting.
