defensive-minded Queens catcher with upside at the plate
Lenox Lively is a left-handed hitting catcher for Queens whose value starts with a strong 6-foot-2, 195-pound frame and legit bat speed upside from his prep profile.[2][3][4] In the 2025 season, he played in 48 games, hit .133 with 21 hits, 10 RBI, and 2 home runs, but Queens noted a recent stretch that included a four-game hitting streak and his first multi-hit game, showing some late-season progress.[1][7] He profiles as a grinder with catcher's durability and development room, which makes him more of a fit for a team that wants physical tools and defensive projection than an instant impact bat.[3][4][7]
