Carter Holsworth brings size-speed upside to Purdue’s backfield
Holsworth is a 6-foot, 218-pound Purdue sophomore back whose best selling point is a powerful blend of burst and contact balance, built off a high-school résumé that included 1,486 rushing yards and 18 touchdowns as a senior at Jasper and All-SIAC honors. He redshirted at Marshall without game action, so Purdue is betting on projection more than proven college production, but the frame, athletic traits, and short-yardage power make him an interesting fit if you want a downhill runner who can grow into a physical role.
