Darnell Collins brings two-way toughness and upside to Georgia Tech
Darnell Collins is a 2026 Georgia Tech freshman WR with legit breakout potential: a 6-3, 190-pound playmaker who was rated a three-star prospect by Rivals, 247Sports, and ESPN and ranked No. 62 in Georgia by 247Sports[1][2]. In his senior season at Rome in 2025, he posted 762 receiving yards and also flashed on defense as a safety, showing versatility, physicality, and a high-competition edge[1][3]. He’s currently working back from an undisclosed injury and missed his collegiate debut, but the upside is obvious: size, multi-phase athleticism, and a homegrown fit for Tech’s program[3][4].
