Lincoln Causero brings upside-heavy heater to Xavier's staff
In the 2026 season, freshman right-hander Lincoln Causero is a 6-foot-4, 190-pound Xavier arm with pro-style traits: a fastball that was clocked up to 92 mph in prep showcases, a hard slider, and a developing changeup that give him a real three-pitch foundation. He’s been described as athletic with room for more velocity, which is exactly the kind of upside coaches love to bet on. The fit? Intriguing if you want a high-ceiling, moldable power arm rather than a finished product.
