Araceli Manzo brings speed, contact, and defensive versatility to UMES
In the 2026 season, Manzo has been one of Maryland-Eastern Shore’s most useful all-around pieces: she’s hitting .367 with a .823 OPS, has 18 hits, 10 stolen bases, and leads the team with 22 strikeouts as a lineup regular who can change games on the bases[13]. In the 2025 season, she showed freshman-season value in 41 games with 21 hits, five RBIs, 129 putouts, and a .971 fielding percentage, while earning MEAC Rookie of the Week honors[1][10][15]. She looks like a high-energy, multi-position fit for a team that wants hustle, athleticism, and quiet production rather than flash[1][13].
