Amaya Williams is CCSU’s steady shot-maker with veteran poise
In the 2024-25 season, Amaya Williams averaged 7.8 points, 2.1 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 28 games for Central Connecticut State, while shooting 84.5% from the free-throw line and hitting 11-of-35 from three on the year. She also showed real clutch scoring pop, including a career-high 17 points in a January 2025 conference game and multiple double-digit outings down the stretch. At 5-foot-5, her game is built on quickness, perimeter confidence and toughness rather than size—she looks like a dependable rotation guard who can steady an offense and bring veteran energy.
