Freshman RHP with Elite Prep Intensity and 2.25 ERA Foundation
Deegan Randall, a 6'2", 210-lb freshman right-handed pitcher for the Western Carolina Catamounts, stands out not just for his prep legacy—ranking #30 in Division 3A West with a 2.25 ERA and striking out 42 batters as a senior—but for his relentless intensity and 'big-game' mentality that transcends stats. His best single prep game saw him pitch 5.1 innings with zero runs allowed, showcasing a rare ability to dominate under pressure. While he's a freshman with no recorded college stats yet, his 36 prep pitching appearances and 11 starts reveal a mature, battle-tested arm ready to contribute immediately. Randall's differentiator is his psychological fire: he doesn't just pitch; he commands the mound with a quiet, fierce confidence that makes him a perfect fit for teams needing a high-intensity, low-ego starter who can handle pressure from day one.
