Marcus Neal Jr. brings downhill physicality, proven production, and transfer-ready versatility
Neal is a 6-foot-1, 215-pound defensive back who earned Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week honors and posted a breakout 2024 season at Iowa State with 77 tackles, 11.0 tackles for loss, 2 interceptions, and a forced fumble, showing he can impact both the run game and coverage. He is valued for his physical, downhill style, reliability in the box, and ability to adapt quickly, which makes him a strong fit for a defense that wants an aggressive, versatile safety rather than just a stat-collector.
