AAC Player of the Year Drew Detlefsen is UTSA’s run-producing left fielder
In the 2025 season, Drew Detlefsen emerged as one of UTSA’s most valuable bats, leading the team with 70 RBIs and 13 home runs while hitting .310 and earning AAC Co-Newcomer Position Player of the Year honors before being named the conference’s 2026 Player of the Year[2][4]. He stands out for his clutch, high-contact power production and steady everyday presence in left field, and recent weekly honors plus All-American recognition suggest he’s a polished middle-of-the-order fit for teams needing impact offense and reliability[5][8].
