Kyle Peters brings upside in the UConn bullpen with power stuff and a big arm
In the 2025 season, UConn right-hander Kyle Peters appeared in nine games, made one start, threw 13.0 innings, and earned one save, flashing a career-high six strikeouts in a 3.0-inning outing against Butler[1]. He’s a 6-foot, 215-pound redshirt sophomore with a power profile that evaluators have tied to a lively fastball and a sharp breaking ball, plus the kind of mound presence that can play in leverage spots[1][4][9]. The caution flag is durability and consistency: he missed the 2024 season with injury and had a volatile 2025, so he looks like a high-upside arm if a staff wants to bet on stuff and development[1][9].
